The freshly released “Hibiki Blender’s Choice” release fills the void left by Hibiki 17’s absence. Suntory’s staff of professional blenders combined carefully selected vintages. The inclusion of a few wine cask-aged whiskies in the mix results in a round, well-balanced flavour with incredible depth.
Suntory is Japan’s oldest whisky manufacturer. Its roots may be traced back to a modest shop founded in 1899 by Torii Shinjiro that specialized in selling imported wines. It is now the country’s largest and most well-known producer of high-quality whisky. The Hibiki is the company’s most popular product, having been named the best whisky in the world multiple times.
